Ringing in a New Year!

Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!!  We spent the last night of the year celebrating at the lake with friends!  This past year has served us well and I am extremely feel blessed for that! Thank you John and Jennifer for hosting us this year- we had a great time!!

A year in review

What a year 2011 as been.  It seems like just last week we were in Charleston with friends ringing in the new year and now we are preparing ourselves for the excitement of 2012. 

In January, John, Boo, Alex and I braved the snow and icy roads to board a cruise ship to the Bahamas in celebration of Alex’s 21st birthday!

February called for the first {of many} celebration of the year when Alex proposed to Boo!and later a trip to DeBordieu to celebrate my 26th!  March proved to be one for the books.  John and I planned a trip to Charleston and little did I know he had something up his sleeve. 

March 11, 2011- John proposed- we are getting MARRIED! and were blessed to share in celebrations with family and friends We celebrated Easter at the beach in April with my family and James and Addie’s engagement in Edisto! In May, John and I headed to the West Coast to visit a cousin in L.A. John turned another year older in June which called for a Sandy Point celebration with some of our closest friends In July we purchased our first home{!!} vacationed at the beach and officially kicking off Boo and Alex’s engagement August- what a busy month!

John and I headed to Greenville to celebrate Austin and Scottie’s engagement then celebrated our own upcoming nuptials paired with a very special birthday and passing of the NC bar Football Season started in full force in September- we ventured to Charlotte for the first game  helped Aaron say goodbye to his 20’s and hello to the big 3-0 at his 30 beers for 30 years threw a wedding shower with our best girlfriends for Scottie and Austin October was full of more celebrations

the youngest Watson turned 21st Scottie and Austin tied the knot more of our friends kicked off their engagements

James and Addie’s John and Jennifer’sand welcomed the newest member of the {soon to be} Thompson family

SulleyBy November, our calendars were filled with wedding parties, wedding parties and more wedding parties. 

with the exception of a quick trip to the mountains with our Camden friends John’s 5th year Citadel reunion Citadel/ USC pre tailgate wedding party Around the House Shower at Bramblewoodand a kitchen shower for Boo and I hosted by our Aunts and Cousins  We started our December out going separate ways to celebrate Alex and Boo’s Bachelor/Bachelorette parties  and ended it with wonderful Christmas festivities

While this year has been nothing short of fast pace, it has been full of {good}change, excitement and new beginnings.  2012 is sure to be a BIG year for our family and many of our friends.

We are looking forward to ringing in the New Year this weekend- I know it is going to be the best yet!
