It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

…. the one that every Gamecock fan has waited 365 days for.  The one that may just be “next year”.  Tomorrow our beloved ‘Cocks will take the field against East Carolina to kick off the 2011 season.  I could not be more excited!  Growing up with a very avid Carolina fan as our dad, my sisters and I were born and raised to bleed garnet and black. 

According to the NY post and other media outlets, this may just be our year.  I hope and pray (for my dad’s sake) this is not a tease, as we have experienced many seasons full of agony and disappointment.  Regardless of win or lose, the tailgates and parties that come with football season never disappoint.  This year will be no exception.

In preparation for tomorrow…

We have packed our cooler(s),taken care of game time drinks, cooked our 8 lbs of boiled peanuts for tailgate, picked out our game day attire,  and made a trip to Jewelry Warehouse for the infamous “Beat -” stickers,

   We will be up bright and early to head to Charlotte to cheer on our ‘Cocks and hopefully pull them through to a win!!  Go Cocks!!!
